As the final session to Leadership New.0 held Thursday, November 3, at Denton’s Chicago offices, this is going to be a great interactive session that will address the growing need of mentoring and leadership.  The session, moderated by Rick Krzyminski, will provide examples of informal and formal existing mentoring programs for development in the panelists’ organizations.

Come learn and participate as the panelists share relevant experiences regarding some of the following key topics:

  • Establish goals of existing mentoring programs
    • Formal versus Informal programs
    • Intersection of mentoring and leadership development
  • Steps to build a program for your organization
    • Matching mentors and mentees
  • Identify potential gaps for informal and formal programs
  • Discuss challenges and successes of existing programs
  • Share resources available for growth and for measurement of a successful program
  • Discuss lessons learned

As ILTA strives to create and maintain ongoing resources for peers in the technology industry, this session will also be used to launch ILTA’s own mentoring program to develop members that do not have these programs within their organizations, branch out from their own firms, and pay it forward by helping others grow and develop as leaders in the industry.

Moderator: Rick Krzyminski

Panelists: Doreen Watt, Marcia Stokes, Jessica Robinson
