Outlook 2010 Search Issues

We currently have some issues with performing searches in Outlook 2010.  It seems that indexing stops and then when the user tries to search one of the email boxes it either does not display any search results or only some emails.  Re-Indexing (Turning indexing off and then on again and letting it rebuild does not seem to fix the issue.  Neither does rebuilding the ost file.  It seems to happen most often with users that have large email boxes.  One suggestion was to just leave the computer on over night.  This may work, because our users are constantly using the machine throughout the day which may not allow the necessary resources to allow the computer to index the email.  I am looking for other ideas if anyone else has seen these kind of issues.
