Boston: Data Security Breach - Surviving the First 3 Days

When:  Oct 12, 2016 from 12:00 to 13:00 (ET)

Data Security Breach - Surviving the First 3 Days

Lunch Sponsor: Navigant Consulting Inc.

Description:
Does your company know how to react to a cyber security incident? What constitutes a breach? What does an incident response plan look like? What are the potential consequences for not having one? When does the clock start ticking after a breach?

Big data breaches require crisis management. Preparation is the best defense -- you should have a detailed incident response plan in place before you are breached, and practice it regularly. We'll review mobilizing a team, contacting authorities and counsel, implementing a communications strategy plan, evaluating insurance options and documenting the process.
