New York City: People-Centric Information Security: Building a Culture of Security Warriors

When:  Sep 28, 2016 from 12:00 to 13:30 (ET)

People-Centric Information Security: Building a Culture of Security Warriors

Lunch Sponsor: Capensys

Description:
Defending against today's cyber threats requires a balanced approach that attends to people, process and technology. People have rapidly become the preferred gateway for cyber attackers looking to circumvent defenses and gain unauthorized access to sensitive and private information. We'll provide an overview of how firms are applying people-centric security strategies designed to adapt to today's evolving threat landscape. You'll discover that even modest changes in your security awareness program can help you build a security culture that is on alert and better equipped to protect the hard-earned trust your firm works tirelessly to build.

We'll review some of the common (and less common) threats we face, and discuss how innovative strategies can be applied to combat these challenges. You'll also learn best practices for establishing a successful program as we look at real-world case studies.
