When:  Sep 27, 2016 from 12:00 to 13:30 (PT)

E-Discovery, Mobile Devices and ESI - What Every Firm Needs To Know

Lunch Sponsor: AccessData

Description:
If you have not yet had a matter that called for collection and review of mobile device data, chances are you soon will. The mobile explosion -- including both bring your own device (BYOD) and Internet of Things (IoT) phenomena -- has led to the dramatic growth of discoverable data on mobile devices of all kinds, from tablet to smartphone to Fitbit. Additionally, new Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) rule changes will have a big impact on e-discovery and electronically stored information (ESI). Learn how all of this will impact your firm as we discuss:

  • How prevalent mobile data collection is today
  • What policies and procedures are in place to deal with mobile data
  • Attorney and firm attitudes around mobile data and BYOD
  • Levels of concern around IoT
  • Mobile device security and privacy policies
