The "How-Tos" of Implementing a Legal Technology Core Competency Certification Program
Lunch Sponsored by: Capensys
Description: If law firm users are not skilled sufficiently in the technologies that support their workflows, it creates inefficiencies and wasted billable time. When a firm is certified in core technology competencies, its clients are assured that the firm has the most suitable skill set for their matters, that the attorneys and staff are up to the job, and that there will be a minimum of "wasteful" billing.
This event will explore how to develop technology core competencies in a legal environment for both attorneys and staff, including how to prepare for the Suffolk/Flaherty Technology Audit. Attendees will receive practical tips and information on how to implement an up-skilling/assessments program or refine their current programs. This will be an interactive session, and we encourage input from firms who have implemented a core competencies program. Please bring your experiences, ideas and questions, and be ready to share. Presenter: Janis Richman is the Director of Consulting at Capensys and provides services around goal-based learning and performance techniques.
