The Big Shift: Reimagine Learning to Drive Business Results and Engage Lawyers

Lunch Sponsor: Traveling Coaches

Description:
We've heard all the buzz words -- generational differences, lawyer efficiency, changing role of the legal secretary, technology adoption, performance support, social and mobile learning, and the list goes on. The pace of technology change, coupled with innovation in learning and development, is making it hard for training teams to keep up with the times. Many find it difficult to gain the attention of lawyers and yet we know there are gaps in lawyers' technology skills. What do learning leaders need to do to set a new direction for their teams in order to maximize the value they bring to the firm?

In this session, we will review the key elements of an effective technology training team and discuss some best practices inspired by professionals both in and outside of the legal tech training field. We'll also share techniques you can use to engage your team and firm leaders to help support your new vision. What you'll learn:

  • How to better define your value to leadership
  • Actionable steps to define a new direction
  • Techniques for engaging your team and your lawyers
  • Best practices based on current learning and development trends
  • How recent ABA Rule Changes impact Lawyer Learning
  • Tools and resources to support you

If you're responsible for making sure learning is happening in your firm, you won't want to miss this event!
